Wow, Nora, the pics of the raptor are impressive, very well taken. Love the whitetails, too. We don't have them here, and I have only seen a few in my life. We have mule deer. Nice looking turkey, he better be hiding when Thanksgiving comes around!

Well.... our critters are not quite as impressive as your critters, Deb. But we enjoy them anyways! We don't have mountain lions, or moose...

Good hunting up there in TN! We mostly have armadillos, possums, raccoons, swamp rabbits, some coyotes, etc. around here. We have some fancy birds though...storks, bald eagles, etc.

I would post pictures of animals from here in Ar., but a little scared to hunt down the bear or mountain lion.

Oh, I LOVE the deer. Of course now that I have a nice lens all of the animals are hiding. I haven't seen our groundhog or deer since I got it, haha. Ugh! I'm still waiting...I was so excited to use it and haven't been able to on anything exciting!

We have all those here in GA except I've not seen a bird of prey that color.  What is it?  Hawk? Falcon?  Very beautiful bird.

I think that bird of prey is the Kite, that was giving her the peace sign, on the other thread...

Yes.. it's the same bird actually. It is a kite, but I don't know what variety it is. Looks kinda like a Mississippi Kite, but I don't know for sure!
