I am new to the site and I am so glad I found it. I posted under another topic so I am pretty sure I did it wrong so if you find it again sorry.

      I brought my first Rat terrier home about a month ago but 2 weeks after I brought him home I had to go get another one, I love them, I will be honest I didn't realize they would be so much work but they are so much fun, they make me laugh every day. I have to boys  I have a chocolate terrier his name is Koa and theyI have a black/tan/white tri and his name is Kai here are a couple of pics.

Welcome!!  Your boys are gorgeous. I LOVE Koa's eyes.  I know exactly what you mean. Lol, I'm about to have rattie #2.  Welcome to the site, you'll love it here. Warning though, it's very addictive!

What handsome boys you have... and are you sure 2 is enough??? I'm still trying to convince my hubby that I really DO need a dozen Ratties!

Welcome to you and Kai and Koa.

Where did you get the names? The reason I ask is, both names can be found in Hawaiian language and Koa means bold as in warrior and Kai is Sea. I have a rat terrier named KeAka which is Shadow.  Are you from Hawaii or have family there?

2 Ratties are not enough believe me I would love more but my husband is not on the same page.................... Koa and Kai are Hawaiian I am not Hawiian but I lived there for 7 years while my Husband was stationed there, all three of my children were born there so it holds a special place for me, so when I got my rat terriers we came up with these names. Koa's actually got his because when we first got him he wouldn't leave my 15lb cat alone and no matter what the cat did he came back for more so I think his name suits him, and with  Kai we wanted something short like Koa.

I know what you mean about having more than two-I would probably be tempted but my hubby is like yours and not on the same page. I know how to push my limit and when to stop-if ya know what I mean

I do know what you mean I was surprised I was able to get another one he already told me 2 is enough although I would like just one more maybe later....

My Koa has one blue and one green eye and Kai of course only has brown. I think his eye color in cool!! probably not acceptable in any kind of club but who cares not like I am going to show him or anything..
