I stumbled across this trio of mini Ratties for sale. A breeder not far from me has an ad in the KC paper. I have been thinking of getting Bijou a buddy, but am unsure if it is the right thing to do as she and I have an ideal relationship. I'm concerned about bringing a third dog into the equation and risk messing things up. But... HOW DO YOU RESIST THIS FACE?!?!?
He is the little darling in the center, flanked by his two sisters.

so sweet! I'd want them all. you can never really know how Bijou will be around another dog until she's actually around one...if you go see the pups, I'd take her with me to see how she interacts with them. |

OMG they are so adorable, how can you resist them. Maybe you should meet them and bring Bijou along, see if she likes to have a friend to play with. |

I love the one on the right too, posing and tilting its head for the camera beauty --the middle one is sweet and full of soul and the one on the left looks sturdy and loyal. I need not to think about getting another one!!!!! Good luck eheh |

I talked to the breeder this morning. That's how I knew which was the male. I think Bijou might get along with a male better than another female. That's been my experience in the past anyway. I had other plans this afternoon so wasn't able to go "see" the pups. Ha... who am I kidding? If I went to see them, I would have put a deposit on the male I know that for sure. They are only six weeks old so, IF he is still available in two weeks then I will know it was meant to be. However, I'm still not convinced getting a second dog is the right thing to do. I'm mostly content with things as they are, it's Bijou I worry about. I want her to be happy and well socialized. I am actually losing sleep over this... as my mother would say, "I'm in a quandry." |

| Forgot to add that yes, I am planning to take Bijou along if/when I go see the pups. I already okayed it with the breeder and she thought was a great idea. |

Yeah okay, which one would you like? The male is spoken for so back off. LOL Seriously you want to talk "obsessed"? I have two threads going on essentially the same topic. How crazy is that! |

| Which do you think Yaz would get along with better? Bijou has an alpha female personality so I don't think she would appreciate me bringing another girl into the house. The breeder said this male is very laid back and already used to being bossed by females. LOL |

Yaz is very lsid back but she is protective of her home and her people so the vet feels a male may balance her? I guess. |
