We are getting a dog park about 30 minutes away from us. It should be finished in about 18 months.

Now I just have to work on getting my two socialized and better behaved LOL

That is unreal! I love that you have pictures and everything. You better get the fur kids ready for this.

very cool! I love that it has a small dog area. there's a "dog park" in town here, but it's a joke...a tiny fenced area in the regular park (most backyards are bigger than the dog area), and they have "small dog hour" once a week. what are they supposed to do the rest of the week when there are tons of big dogs around? considering they fought for 10 yrs to get a dog park in town, you'd think it would be much better than it is.

too bad that park isn't going to be ready for 18 months, but that gives you plenty of time to make sure your ratties will be ready to play nicely with all the dogs that are going to be there. if it ends up being anything like the drawing, it will be amazing.

that park looks awesome!!! We have a dog park too in our area,  and it is a JOKE too.  I brought trixy one day,  it had nothing in it just a small fence and a picnic table, there was a water bowl there with a spicket,  it was so nasty!!! Trixy thank goodness refused to drink form it, she is a bit spoiled, lol.  i guess it was too nasty for her.  anyway, she was completely bored over there, I wish we had something like your park,  around here.

Wow, that looks like it's going to be an awesome dog park. Sydney would probably love to go to a dog park but Bella would probably have a nervous break down. She doesn't do well with large groups of unfamiliar dogs and people.

When I took Trix, to ours, she was literally the only dog there,  all I wanted to do is socialize her.  Trixy gets scared of large crowds of dogs too, especially the larger breeds.
