I hope this is ok to post (if not it can be removed).  After my visit with stupid lady and with his deployment getting closer, I really want to see my soldier more so here is My Soldier.  I know there is know there are other parents on here with soldiers or spouse of them.  Please put them on here as well to honor them

My son Justin, is in the Navy, at Pax Naval Air Station. He is an AE-E5. I am so proud of him. My pictures are on my other computer, that needs a new power supply.

Thanks for this thread Here is my son, the Airman

I don't have any scanned pics of my father-in-law who recently passed away, but he was an MP in the Army during Vietnam.

God bless all of our troops! May the all come home safe.

I agree.. completely appropriate!

Thank you for sharing your pictures with us. I know my mom kept a picture of me out on her coffee table while I was gone, and my father always wore (and still does wear, since I'm not technically fully out of the Air Force yet) a pin that says I *heart* my Airman. =)

It's hard while they're away, but I bet you're so proud of them! Make sure you tell them when you talk to them. They'll really appreciate it! =)

Thank you all for being such supportive parents.  I can speak from 20 years experience in the AF (and still on Active Duty) that this isn't an easy job, but it's easier to handle when the families are supportive, including the spouses.  My additional duty job right now is to get the Airmen ready to deploy, and it's tough.  I haven't ever had to deploy, just didn't have the opportunity, but those that go from my section are well outfitted and well trained.  Fabulous basic training photo of your son, Tracy.  May he have as rewarding of a career as I have had so far.  Thanks to all!

Michelle
