Your input is appreciated, however, we do not want fighting over this project.  Designs will be judged, not voted on.  Jan and Kimberly decided to test run a t-shirt project.  If all goes well, then maybe (maybe) we can get with Lance and offer some sort of rat-terrier.com gear through an online store .  This is purely speculation on my part.  Kimberly and I decided for simplicity sake for this run, we would use light gray t-shirts as they are fairly neutral and good for men and women.  We decided red bandanas would look good on all our dogs and stand out nicely.  The design will be chosen based on the design itself, how it will look and reproduce on a t-shirt/bandana, example of the breed and the spirit of the rat-terrier.com community.  It will not be based on popularity or personality.  As rat terriers come in all shapes and sizes, the dog(s) may or may not look like your dog, but they will look like a great example(s) of the breed and show our love for the community of rat-terrier.com.  Remember, rat-terrier.com belongs to Lance Robinson and should not be reproduced without his permission, nor should the designs be reproduced without persmission from the designer.  Common courtesy, please!

Very well said Jan. I am working on quite a few designs ... I have chosen Ratties from our community based on color, ear carriage, head tilts etc. that make our breed of doggies so special. I used images of dogs that fit in with whichever design I was using. It has nothing to do with owners, popularity, or anything other than what I have stated above. I could have used generic ratties or rattie images (which I did in some designs) but I couldn't see why when we have such beautiful examples of them right here at home. I do not mean to slight anyone by not using THEIR particular dog. As I said, it has nothing to do with owners or dogs ... I used what (as a designer) I thought would be most attractive ... Also you will see the same dogs used in different designs. The reason for this is that it takes a lot of work to remove the background of photographs in order for the design to look professional. Once I removed the background from the dogs I wanted to use, I couldn't see spending all my time removing backgrounds from 100's of dogs. After all, we have almost 1400 members on this site. So please bear with me with what I used and do not judge me. I did use Vinnie in some of them because of his coloring and ear carriage ... We don't have many chocolates here and he is a good example of that color for this breed. Thanks for listening ... I'm afraid I get accused of using my own dog too often. As my mother taught me "If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all." I'm looking forward to seeing what everyone comes up with and I am having a lot of fun myself. Ok, well here are two designs that I have.  These are both previously created for other reasons, the logo I just added the rat-terrier.com too.  So please let me know what you guys think   I'm still trying to come up with something else, just thought since I had them on my pc already, I'd get them out there   In both images the backgrounds can be switched to match t-shirt/bandana colors...  And I have the logo in a much larger size if needed, just made it smaller to post here.

Looking again, I'm not to sure I like the font for rat-terrier.com in the logo (2nd image)....  And I can change stuff if anyone has any ideas!

Ok, I have all this software loaded up on my computer and haven't a clue how to use it.  So I did what all 40 something year old mom's would do.  I go to my daughter and hound her about it.  Over the last several days, I have probably asked my daughter about 20 times to ask her friend to fix something so that I have SOMETHING to submit to this thread.  I'm the kinda person that really doesn't care if I WIN I just LOVE to play!  So FINALLY she talked to her friend and he was able to put something together in about 5 minutes. 

People that know how to do this kinda thing need to come over my house and give me a tutorial.  This kinda thing is so neat and I'd love to sit and "make" pictures. So if anyone wants to come visit rural Middle Ga to give me computer lessons, I'd greatly appreciate!

I've been in "Insurance Form" mode for the last year so I'm afraid I got a little carried away with this one. Jan said POST 'em all so here goes. These first two are Jan's idea and the third one is Tracey's motto. Also Jan's line "You can log off, but you can never leave was used quite a bit." The last logo I did was for the town I live in and the first place it appeared was on the side of the Sewer Truck (true story) ... so again, I went overboard and had tons of fun!!!

OH!! Ok, I love that last one that you posted D for the smaller one. Its hard to pick just one or two from these.  Talented people here!!  I was just going to get a white t shirt and scribble on it with a black magic marker!!

Yeah, and maybe one of silhouettes for the red bandana -- the black would look awesome on the red. Of course, the entries are open until the 25th? IS that what we said? Hmmm, let me go check. hahahaha

YES!! I think that silhouette on a red bandana would be great!!! I got to stop looking tho cos I keep seeing too many cute ones!!
