A short clip of Janie playing with Rattagan.  This is a doggie that was barely walking in January of this year.  He is now hopping up on the bed sometimes, mind you the bed is on the floor, no frame so it is less than two feet.  He bounces at meal time and bounces up at the door sometimes when someone it about to open it for him.  He is being very good with Cameo, even giving her kisses.  He's not sure what Nala Belle is yet, she's so darned energetic, more than he can handle right now.  He is also being better with Cutter, not grousing nearly as much.  They can be near each other without WWIII breaking out.  And as long a Cricket doesn't jump directly on him he pretty much pays her no mind.

I'm going to send this video to my DAD... he suffers with extreme knee pain - he needs both of them replaced but refuses to do it.... he's a vet and can have it done free at the hospital, but he still won't do it.... I can't understand him.... why suffer when you don't have to? His OLDER sister had BOTH done not too long ago and it was a great success... I really can't understand why he won't do it........

I'm gonna say... LOOK DAD... Even Ratty had his knees done and is doing great... what the *%#*(% is your problem?? LOL!!

Way to go Ratty!!

Sue, be prepared for an "Apples and Oranges" discussion. Sounds like a good plan though. In case he needs a rundown: Rattagan was born without the knee cap groove in his left femur so his patella was always out of place, resting on the inside of his knee. The surgeon had to put a groove in the femur and then relocate the patella. About a month prior to that, we think, when he came home from dental cleaning and extractions, he jumped out of the car and that's when the ACL's ruptuerd. I'm sure he will know about the corrective surgeries and tell you that fishing line isn't going to fix his knees.

Man, look at him go! Giving those new knees a workout, which is probably good for them just like physical therapy is good post surgery for humans. Good to see how successful the surgery was, isn't it?

Yes Peggy it is good to see that the surgeries worked for my little man-head. He hasn't played like this in over 2 years. I'm so very happy to see him go like he did when he was younger. He'll be 12 Feb.16.

Go Rattagan Go!

I bet he feels like a pup again.

That's my baby girl, Bijou! She's a Toy Rat Terrier.
