Tehya and I went to see Doc Young this morning to have her stitches removed. Tehya was a good little traveler, having her leash tied up to the seat belt, she laid by me and slept all the way. She was a very good girl at the vet, everyone adored her and she wanted to play with the other doggies there. Tehya weighed in at 7.9 pounds. The suture removal went fine, Doc said other than a little swelling and scratches at the suture points, it looked good. While Chris was holding Tehya I saw something in one of her pads, tick it was, plus one more on another pad. Doc simply grabbed it as close to the skin with hemostats had popped them off. She got a dose of the yellow puppy de-worming stuff without much complaint. Doc looked Tehya over and said she is in good health.
Cameo is doing far, far better today after having a time to clear GRIS-PEG from her system. All four paws are looking almost normal now. She is still a little confused and I think she is sleep walking in the early morning hours, peeing in the middle of the living room, before crawling into bed with me. She's been sleeping in the big crate lately. We figure if she is comfortable there, just let her be.
Nala had a bit of change on Saturday when Tehya arrived. Nala began acting a little more mature. She and Tehya bonded almost immediately.
Cutter and Rattagan are both well also, no real complaints other than grumpy old man behavior at times.
Now that all the pups are doing well I'm taking Janie to the doc. She's got sciatic pain |
