Hi, I bought a pet carrier from Ebay and it is too small for Shadow.  If anyone needs a pet carrier, please let me know and I will send it to you.

Thanks, Barbara

Barbara, make sure the carrier you buy is not bigger than the regulation required by the airline. I have heard horror stories of passengers been turned away.

I went back on Southwest airlines site and checked out their size for the approved carriers. I had to buy another one. The one previously purchased was too small. Shadow has long legs... although he curls up into a ball... it is another thing to just get him in. He will be flying with me and he has to go under the seat. But he is comming with me.

I found that the more I tried the more the carrier became an issue. So I just winged it on the day of and it worked. Treats scattered at the bottom is a great way to get him into the carrier and then a quick zip up.

I am also thinking of getting a pet stroller as 15 lbs can get heavy walking through the airport.
