My name is Crawford and I have a 1 year old Rat Terrior named deeogee. When I give deeogee her food she does a little dance brushing her nose accross the floor towards the food dish and in circles all the way round the dish and then eats it. she does this every time i feed her. I'm not really worried about this behaviour but wondering if this a trait for all these dogs or is mine just weird. I'll still love her just the same. I'd really like to know thank you. Crawford

Chrissy doesn't do that, but she does take a few pieces of food in her mouth and then "toss" them across the kitchen floor. She then chases them down and eats them. Guess she thinks she is hunting this way. LOL Welcome to the group. Can't wait to see pictures of your little one.

Welcome. Dink doesn't do that. He just goes up to his bowl and eat. I bet it's cute to watch.

Mine do that but they have other odd habits...like taking pieces of food into the living room to eat...ratties do all kinds of odd things!

Shadow doesn't do that, but he will (after I tell him to sit and stay then eat)... he will take a couple of kibbles and put them on his placemat... he eats from the bowl, then goes and eats the few off his placemat.

Shadow's Mom Laugh, dance and drink like nobody's watching cause life is too short.

Welcome to the site, Crawford. Button, on the left there, whimpers as I get dinner ready for the girls. Zipper, on the right, just stands on my leg and waits quietly. No dancing around here. They sometimes rub their face AFTER eating, but not before.

Mya likes to take a mouthful of food and brings it into the living room or on the couch and eats it. Dogs have their cute quirks and that's what makes them so special to us

Welcome Crawford and Deeogee! The only weird thing Bailey does is put stuff in her food bowl, actually she has a food plate, she eats better from it for some reason. I always find her bully sticks and other chewies in there. But the other day I found the remote to my bedroom tv. Don't know why she did that.

my bryson takes a few and staggers away 5ft, eats and then comes back... my braeli is face in the bowl and you wont see it again until shes done.
