Not sure what lamtone is but you could also try adding fish oil to his food for Omega's. I think some are shedders and some aren't. Not too much you can do about it! : )

My vet advises that there is nothing you can do about it other than brush often and bathe frequently.  Maggie doesn't just shed, she evaucates!  I thought maybe it was because she had the "puppy mange"  when we got her, but the vet says no, just a terrier trait.  She has a Min Pin/RT cross with the same characteristic.

Do your dogs shed more when they are scared or stressed? Whenever Bob is at the vet's, I swear the hair just falls off of him! The exam room is covered in hair before we leave.

I think Daisy does the shed more when stressed thing too. But I know for certain my cats do it at the vet's office. It's ridiculous the amount of fur they drop while there!

Oh, Tracey, I just love your new avatar pic! And yes, I think dogs do shed when stressed. My girls do at the vet's and all my dachsies did too.

Mine just shed. Now Loco and Skipper don't shed near as much as the two ratties do.

I was JUST going to ask about this!!!!
Yogi has started to shed like CRAZY!!!!! I was so impressed that he didn't shed when I first got him...oops!

The past couple of weeks he has shed buckets of hair...I keep waiting to wake up to a Hairless Rat Terrier!!!!!!

No stress or diet change...he gets a flaxseed-fish oil supplement, all natural wheat-corn free diet, and oatmeal baths.
He IS on Ivermectin tho...wonder if that could cause excessive shedding?

and our weather has been upper 60's-70's on and off all winter...esp the past few weeks. (NOT complaining!)

Maybe he's confused like the plants and trees?

Angel sheds, but it's a way of life for me. I just keep lint rollers everywhere, and it's not so bad. Tell people when they come over to your house, If you don't like dog hair then don't sit on my funiture... There is a little list of rules for visiting a dog owner... I need to find them...

Nibbler sheds when he is at the vet or stressed out.
I give him 400 IU Vitamin E and an Fish Oil capsule (poke a hole and let the inside drain onto his food) everyday and it has helped some, but it won't ever go away.
