Until this morning, there was an option for the author to edit a post... it's not there now.
I make too many typos... I need edit!!! Either that, or I'll have to resort to typing in Word and cutting and pasting so I can spell check! |

Were oh were has the magic edit button go?
I noticed it was gone a while ago. I miss it...all thoes typing mistakes I've been making are driving me nuts!! 
Why is it gone, Lance? Is this some sort of rt.com torture method? |

In the "Ratties Run For President" thread, I had an edit button. I do not have an edit button for anything else that I posted.

I think it goes along with the "flame bait" issue...a few were basically "abusing" the edt feature in some of the more, um, "lively" threads...posting something and then later "taking it back" by erasing whatever was in their post. It's just going to make us have to really think about what we write before we hit the "submit" button, huh?

| I don't know, but I think it was because of some of the drama that happens on this board sometimes. I haven't been told, but my theory is that it is to make people think about what they are posting before they post it, b/c there is no going back and changing it. I think it's a great idea...IF that is the thinking behind it....in light of some the posts that have been on here in the last few months. (and I am just as guilty as anyone else for posting something that is not neccesarily nice, and then going back later and erasing it.) |
