would love to help ya, but i just don't have any tips. mine uploaded just fine, but i have noticed that i have to re-upload it everytime i make an updates to my profile...

Hey, I got my Avatar to work, yippy.  I had to change the JPG to jpg. When I clicked on browse on my profile it then brought down my pic files, so I clicked on the pic I wanted and the numbers, whatever they are called, went into the browse window so I back spaced the JPG and put in jpg in the window and it worked. Now that is probably what all you were trying to tell me, but I couldn't figure it out till now.lol I feel so gooood. Monte |

| MaddensMommy: At the top of this thread is a link called "My Profile". Click on it and then you will see another link called "Edit Profile", click on it. There you will see the upload box for your avatar pic. Just browse to the photo's location on your computer that you would like to use and upload it. Then scroll down a little ways and click on Update Profile. That should do it. You may have to (most likely) click refresh after it says Update Completed to see your avatar. Let me know if you have any other issues. |

Sometimes, you need to upload it twice to get it to work. That is what I had to do.....  |

Hi Nicole! I'm seeing avatar pics for all thrree of you. Be sure you guys are clicking your page refresh button in your browser after you upload a new avatar or you won't be able to see it. I discovered that last time I changed mine this week. But other than that it should upload unless maybe the pic is too big? But I would think you'd see an error message to that effect at the top of the screen if that were the case. |

Yes I did get it to work thanks. I was going to reload it, then I saw another pic I wanted to use. I do think it was because I needed to refresh or reload it, but in any case I got it to work.

| can you change the JPG to jpg on vista? for some reason i have the all upper case but when i click on the picture name, it only shows the name, not the extension and i can't change it and i had an avatar at one point but went to upload a new one and nothing shows up |

What does this mean?
Access to the path 'C:\Inetpub\vhosts\rat-terrier.com\httpdocs\Portals\0\NTForums_Avatars\Avatar_625.jpg' is denied.
I have followed all the instructions from this original post and still get am error
I am using Vista and of course the extensions are uppercase and I cannot figure out how to change HOWEVER when I browse and pic the file it shows it as lowercase |
