Pam knows. I think she is excited. They will be traveling with everything they need like water and food in their crates. Daddy to these 8 is at large so we don't know. They look pretty rattie so far.

Daddy to these 8 is at large so we don't know sorry, that sentence made me chuckle...those sperm donor father...pssshhhh....were gonna have to go after him for child support! But seriously, these babies are absolutely precious, I really hope that mama is healthy enough to take good care of them through this transport and what ANGELS to take a transport on a holiday weekend! Wish i was closer, I would love to help! I hope this gets filled!

I too am worrired that this transport may be too soon. I wish a foster in Alabama could step up and keep them for a couple of weeks, so that milk is established and babies are bigger and stronger. I pray that all goes well with this. Please let the right people be in place to see this.

Carol, All should be fine. They are currently in a temp foster home and thriving. We will be sending a care package with them so mom will have food and water 100%. When in these situations of pulling from a shelter and not knowing the medical history of the mom it is always risky, but normally is successful. Last weekend was a rare situation due to health of the mom and puppies before they were born and lack of attention before birth. We are being extra cautious to ensure the best outcome. These girls know what they're doing Carol. Any risk is caused by the lack of care previous to Ratbones getting these dogs....i.e. unethical breeders!
