I was giving my babies their heart worm meds and they normally just chew them right up with no problems.  Well I gave Bailey his, then I gave Sydney hers.  Then I gave Chance his and I heard him crunching it well when I looked down I saw Syd grab it right out of his mouth.  So Syd has had two heart worm pills.  I called the vet and she says that it is ok.  I feel so bad for letting this happen

At least the vet says no big deal! Don't worry about it! She must really like them!!

Now you will have to go get Chance another one...Just make sure Sydney does not snap it up again. I have to watch mine really close too, when I give heartworm meds.

Haha, new puppy spit up some of his vaccination stuff all over the vet today! Then he puked in the waiting room floor, then had the nerve to mark his vomit! Geeze, go figure, new puppy.

Wait till you accidently do this with your kids. We were on a trip across the country and I accidentally gave them my anti-anxiety medicine (for flying) instead of their medicine. IT LOOKED THE SAME. Once the fire department and paramedics met us at a local truck stop, we found out they were going to be fine. Scary. My kids were the only ones not nervous.

Happened to me once, too. I gave all the little ones their Heartguard chewables. Then gave Loco (our whippet) her Heartguard pill...thought I had pushed it far enough down her throat...turned around and she coughed it back up! Mayfly got a piece of it, luckily not the whole thing as Loco must have bitten it. ERG
